Handheld Air Sampler

The BioCapture z750 has been created to provide CBRN Defense Forces and Emergency Response teams with a high-performance handheld bioaerosol sampler. It is a direct replacement and an upgrade to the BioCapture BC-650. Current BC-650 users will easily transition to the z750 without additional training. 

The BioCapture z750 is designed around proprietary and proven filter media technology.  State-of-the-art power management systems and special manifold geometries, patented by the team during the development of the BC-650, allow flow rates not previously achieved in a hand-held unit. The motor and control systems have been optimized for a high impeller revolution rate and low power consumption while maintaining excellent reliability. The z750 retains many of the key features of previous BioCapture models, such as ease of operation in Level A suits, elimination of sample carryover, and ability to field decontaminate. For multiple tests in the hot zone, simply lift the cover, insert a new filter module, close the cover, and start sample collection.

A new feature to sample at 400 lpm when set to Max Flow Mode allows the first responder to optimize the initial response by collecting a maximum sample concentration in the shortest amount of time. The advanced sample filter design and field extraction kit sold with the z750 has been extensively validated. It is proven to be compatible with lateral flow immunoassay (test strips), PCR, and laboratory confirmation.

With the introduction of the BioCapture z750, RRSi has produced a one-of-a-kind device capable of 400 L/min in a compact, lightweight, and easy-to-use instrument.
